Simultaneous Interpreting
Interpreting in booths, in which two interpreters (for meetings lasting over one hour and a half) talk at the same time as the speaker. The interpreters use headphones and a microphone to return the speech of the orator while he/she talks. Each language uses one channel and those present can choose which language to listen to on their infra-red receivers. In this case, booths must be installed, as well as microphones, headphones and amplifiers.

Consecutive Interpreting
For conferences or press conferences. In this case, the interpreter usually talks after the orator when the latter pauses. In this case, the interpreter cannot return all the content of the speech but summarizes. This type of interpreting does not need technical equipment.

Dialogue Interpreting (for commercial meetings, negotiations, etc.)
Interpreting for small groups (two languages maximum) using a portable microphone and headphone system (Infoport).

Chuchotage (or whispered interpreting)
For conferences, presentations or visits when one or two people need an interpreting service (only one interpreter in this case). Throughout the duration of the function, the interpreter remains by the person's side and translates the content of the presentation, in a low tone. No technical equipment is necessary.

Sworn Interpreters
Interpreting in the courts, in sworn declarations and before notary public. In these cases, the interpreting is carried out by sworn interpreters recognized by the Foreign Office.

Interpreting for Conference Calls
Telephone interpreting in the case of conference calls carried out in two languages.
